According to Section 13 of Legislative Decree no.196 of June 30th 2003, we hereby inform you that:

Steel Future S.r.l. processes personal data of customers, suppliers, employees and other persons who have voluntarily provided directly or by phone, fax or e-mail their personal information to our commercial office or to the company who executes telemarketing on behalf of Steel Future S.r.l. according to the law (Section 2 - Purposes). Steel Future S.r.l. ensures that personal data are processed by respecting data subjects’ rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity, particularly with regard to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to personal data protection.

Purposes of processing personal data

All data submitted by the data subject are processed solely for purposes related to the business activities of the company and particularly:

  • in order to be inserted in the company's database;
  • for the elaboration of internal statistics;
  • to enter technical intervention files with a assistance and/or training purpose;
  • to edit technical reports about services demanded by customers and/or potential ones;
  • to issue transport documents, invoices and credit notes;
  • to issue quotations and offers to regular and/or potential customers;
  • to issue bids’ requests towards regular and/or potential suppliers;
  • to manage the ordinary accountancy and the VAT;
  • to manage records and payments;
  • to send commercial information concerning the activities of the company’s or those of companies linked always in the same field, to regular and/or potential customers;
  • to exchange information regarding economical, administrative and commercial activities of the company (by phone, mail, courier, fax, e-mail and through the protected and private areas of the website http://www.steelfuture.com
  • to meet obligations required by the law, the regulations, the European Community law and the civil and tax rules.

 

Communication and dissemination of data

The personal data of the data subject, if necessary, may be communicated also to:

  • all those whose right of access to such data is recognized by legislative measures;
  • our collaborators, employees, agents and suppliers, within their meeting their duties and/or contractual obligations regarding trade relations with the data subject;
  • factoring companies, credit recovery or credit insurance companies;
  • manufacturing companies and/or to companies granting user licenses for services/products supplied, only when the communication is necessary to the use of the services/products purchased;
  • post offices, shipping companies and couriers for the delivery of documents and/or materials;
  • suppliers of Unified Messaging services through Internet, if the sending of letters and messages to the data subject (regarding the scope of data processing) is realized by this channel;
  • all individuals and/or corporations, public and/or private (legal, administrative and tax consultancy firms, offices for the compilation of payroll, judicial offices, Chambers of Commerce, Chambers and Offices of Labour , etc..), when such communication is necessary or useful to carry out our activities. This will be done in the way and for the purposes as described above;
  • banks for the management of records and payments resulted by contracts.

 

Nature of data collection and consequences of failure to provide them

The provision of personal data by individuals who wish to open a business relationship with our company, even if only for information about our activities/services, has to be considered optional. Anyway the failure of provision could result in the interruption of the relationship or of its proper conduct of and any legal obligations, including tax ones. The data are stored at the headquarters of our company, for the period appointed by civil and tax law.

 

Methods of the processing
The processing of personal data takes place exclusively inside the offices of Steel Future S.r.l., using both paper and informatics supports, through phone or web, also thanks to automated tools suitable for recording, managing and transmitting data, with observance of all cautionary measures to ensure security and confidentiality.

Right to Access Personal Data
A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

 

A data subject shall have the right to be informed

  • of the source of the personal data,
  • of the purposes and methods of the processing;
  • of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
  • the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5(2);
  • of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

 

A data subject shall have the right to obtain

  • updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
  • erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed; A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part:
  • on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
  • to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
  • The above rights may be exercised upon informal request addressed to the owner or to one of his/her representatives, including through an agent, which shall be acknowledged without delay. The request to the owner or manager can also be sent by registered letter, fax or email.
